Alongside my client work as a Houston maternity photographer, I mentor and educate photographers through YV Photography Lab. The Lab is a dedicated space where I share advanced lighting techniques, studio workflows, creative workshops, and hands-on shootouts designed to help photographers refine their craft and elevate their work.
YV Photography Lab was created for photographers who want to deepen their understanding of studio lighting and creative direction. Through educational video courses, downloadable lighting guides, in-person workshops, and collaborative shootouts, the Lab offers practical learning experiences designed to help photographers grow with clarity and confidence.

Workshop and Creative Shootouts
In addition to online education, I host in-person workshops and creative shootouts where photographers can practice lighting techniques, explore creative concepts, and collaborate in a guided studio setting. These hands-on experiences provide an opportunity to learn through real setups and live demonstrations while building confidence behind the camera.
