Mastering Your Studio Mentoring

Terms & Conditions

By booking a Mastering Your Studio Mentoring experience with Yancy Villatoro Photography, LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your mentoring dates. Dates are not secured until retainer have been received.

The remaining balance is due 15 days prior to the scheduled mentoring dates unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Failure to submit the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the mentoring without refund of the retainer.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

All payments are non-refundable.

One complimentary reschedule may be requested if notice is given at least 10 days before the scheduled mentoring dates and is subject to availability.

Requests made within 10 days may incur additional travel or administrative fees.

If the participant cancels after travel arrangements have been booked, the participant is responsible for reimbursing any non-refundable travel expenses incurred by Yancy Villatoro Photography, LLC, including but not limited to airfare, hotel accommodations, transportation, parking, or airline change fees.

If Yancy Villatoro Photography, LLC must postpone or cancel due to illness, emergency, severe weather, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, every effort will be made to reschedule the mentoring. If rescheduling is not possible, all mentoring fees paid will be refunded. Liability is limited solely to the amount paid for the mentoring experience.

3. Travel & Location

Mastering Your Studio Mentoring is conducted at the participant's studio or another mutually agreed-upon location.

The mentoring fee includes the agreed upon travel costs for Yancy Villatoro Photography, LLC unless otherwise stated in writing.

The participant is responsible for ensuring that the studio or shooting location is available, accessible, safe, and ready for instruction during the scheduled mentoring dates.

If the mentoring cannot proceed due to lack of access, scheduling conflicts, or issues beyond the control of Yancy Villatoro Photography, LLC, the mentoring will be considered canceled by the participant.

4. Studio & Equipment

The participant is responsible for providing access to the equipment they wish to learn with, including cameras, lenses, lighting, modifiers, triggers, computers, and editing software.

Yancy Villatoro Photography, LLC is not responsible for equipment malfunctions, internet outages, power failures, studio rental disputes, or technical issues that are outside of its control.

5. Intellectual Property

All presentations, educational materials, editing techniques, lighting demonstrations, workflows, pricing strategies, marketing systems, documents, videos, templates, and business resources shared during the mentoring remain the exclusive intellectual property of Yancy Villatoro Photography, LLC.

No portion of the mentoring may be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, republished, taught, or shared without prior written consent.

The mentoring is intended exclusively for the registered participant(s).

6. Recording Policy

Participants may record the editing and educational discussion portions of the mentoring for personal reference only unless otherwise instructed.

Hands-on demonstrations, client interactions, behind-the-scenes instruction, proprietary teaching methods, and any live portions of the mentoring may be recorded for personal reference only unless otherwise instructed

Recordings may not be shared, sold, uploaded, reproduced, or used to teach others.

7. Confidentiality

Mastering Your Studio Mentoring includes proprietary business information, including workflows, contracts, pricing strategies, marketing methods, client communication, editing techniques, and business systems.

Participants agree not to reproduce, distribute, teach, or publicly share these materials or represent them as their own without written permission.

Likewise, any confidential information shared by the participant regarding their business will be treated professionally and kept confidential.

8. Image Usage

Photographs created during the mentoring may be used by the participant in their personal portfolio, website, and social media.

Images may not be used for commercial education, workshops, mentoring, tutorials, products, competitions, magazine submissions, advertising, or other commercial purposes without written permission from Yancy Villatoro Photography, LLC and any required model releases.

9. Media Release

Yancy Villatoro Photography, LLC reserves the right to photograph or record portions of the mentoring for educational, promotional, website, portfolio, and social media purposes.

Participants grant permission for behind-the-scenes photographs and video to be used without additional compensation.

10. Liability

Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with the mentoring experience.

Yancy Villatoro Photography, LLC shall not be held liable for personal injury, illness, property damage, equipment damage, theft, travel delays, or losses occurring before, during, or after the mentoring.

Participants are responsible for maintaining insurance for their own photography equipment and personal belongings.

11. Health & Safety

If either party becomes ill before the mentoring dates, every reasonable effort will be made to reschedule.

Reasonable precautions will be taken to provide a safe learning environment; however, participants acknowledge that they voluntarily assume all risks associated with travel and in-person instruction.

12. Results Disclaimer

Mastering Your Studio Mentoring is designed to provide personalized education, guidance, and practical experience.

Yancy Villatoro Photography, LLC makes no guarantees regarding future income, business growth, bookings, social media success, competition results, or photographic achievements. Individual results depend on each participant's implementation, commitment, experience, and circumstances.

13. Agreement

By submitting payment, the participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions in their entirety.
